Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the FilmBah mobile application (“App”), also known as Cinemahub, and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

FilmBah is a social movie hub that lets you:

Create an account and sign in with Google or Apple
Manage watchlists, rate movies, and get AI-powered movie search and recommendations
Create or join groups, share watchlists, and interact with other users (e.g. chat, reactions)
Receive push notifications (e.g. friend requests, group invites, messages)
Use optional features such as voice input for search and custom profile settings

We may add, change, or discontinue features over time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.

2. Eligibility and Account

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age in your country) to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and update it when it changes.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms. You must not:

Violate any applicable law or the rights of others
Harass, abuse, impersonate, or defame others
Upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes intellectual property
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems
Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages
Use automated means (e.g. scraping, bots) except where we explicitly allow it

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.

4. Your Content and Licences

You keep ownership of content you submit (e.g. ratings, comments, profile data). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, display, and process it as needed to operate and improve the Service (e.g. showing your ratings in groups, backing up data). This licence continues for as long as we need it to provide the Service and to comply with legal obligations.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to post your content and that it does not violate these Terms or any third-party rights.

5. Intellectual Property

.The Service, including but not limited to the source code, object code, design, features, functionality, algorithms, icons, and branding, are the exclusive property of Mikhail Bakhrakh. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial use. You specifically agree not to:

Decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
Copy or crawl any content from the Service using automated bots or scrapers.
Create a derivative work or a 'clone' that mimics the unique functionality or 'look and feel' of the FilmBah interface.

6. Third-Party Services and Content

The Service may use or link to third-party services (e.g. authentication, movie data, push notifications). Our AI features (movie search, recommendations, and the psycho profile game) are powered by Hugging Face. When you use those AI features, we send the data described in our Privacy Policy (section 2.4) to Hugging Face to process your request. We obtain your permission in the App before sending that data. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or content.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties (express or implied) regarding the Service. Movie information and AI-generated content are for informational and entertainment purposes only and may contain errors.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we (and our affiliates, directors, employees, and agents) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or, if nothing was paid, fifty US dollars). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum permitted by law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us (and our affiliates, directors, employees, and agents) harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account and associated data through the in-app account deletion option, subject to our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for breach of these Terms or for any other reason we consider appropriate.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Oviedo, Asturias, Spain.
